Our first obligation is to comply with the desire and prayer for unity uttered by Jesus on the night of His betrayal recorded in John 17:22,23.  As a result below you will find statements of scriptural belief, but you will also find our willingness to observe the right of any attender to hold to other widely accepted Christian interpretations of scripture without censure or condemnation.  These acceptable differences will be delineated below.  Our guiding principle will be to publish our core beliefs, but to also give voice to alternate interpretations widely accepted in the Christian community of churches nationwide and worldwide.  We tolerate differences of opinion as long as Christian unity is not endangered, or sinful behavior encouraged.  This of course requires forbearance, goodwill and wisdom from all attenders, but is definitely within the ability of "born again" believers.  If it were not possible to live in unity as Christians, Jesus would not have prayed for it or expected it of us.  At All Peoples Church we will endeavor to pursue unity among believers and it will be a guiding principle of our worship and Christian work.
